Report Card

The first quarter ended last week and TJ received his report card today. We are proud to announce that we (I mean TJ) earned a B+ in science and reading and As in all other subjects! Way to Go!

Bye Bye Football....Hello Basketball

4th grade football hit a wall more commonly known as Immaculate Heart on Saturday. Our Tigers were unable to retain their offense and lost the semifinal game. TJ played despite a fever of 103 which we discovered following that game - BAD PARENTS! He was down for the count the balance of the weekend and Monday. He seems to be on the rebound and attended school today for a couple hours. Long enough to gather up much homework.

TIGERS WIN!

Despite the very cold weather, TJ's football team played an awesome game with some remarkable defense to win the first game of the tourney today. TJ's fan club (Papa, Aunt Diana and Devin) was there to cheer him on. They will play again next Saturday. GO TIGERS!

FIRE PIT

When the BIG fir tree was removed a few months ago, the root ball left a BIG hole in the ground. Instead of filling it in, we decided to make the best of it and build a fire pit! Check it out. Todd did a Fantastic job!

North Homecoming

High school friend, Dee (Booth) Klem is here visiting from Seattle. She wanted to travel here for Mom's funeral but selfishly I wanted to delay her trip until a time when we could spend some quality time together. She arrived Thursday. She, Beth (Francisco) Guthrie, Jenny Cashen and I have had some great laughs together. Last night we ventured to the Columbus North High School Homecoming Football Game. Fellow classmate, Julie (Dunlap) Likens talked Dee and Jenny into climbing aboard the alumni float. Beth and I sneaked off the field to the grandstands and were punished later with the bar tabs! A price we happily paid! We roamed the halls of our old high school which sadly has not changed much. We will gather again tonight for more wine, dinner and laughs ( I am sure ).

TIGERS WIN!

TJ played quarterback most of the game against St. Luke. The defense on both sides kept the game scoreless into overtime. 4th down in OT, Joey goes in as quarterback and TJ catches the pass for a TOUCHDOWN! YAHOO!
