Sweet!

TJ's current baseball team challenged the team he played for last year. Although the "old" team only has 3 of TJ's prior teammates, he was thrilled to score the winning run in a come from behind victory in the final inning! Bandits Win!

Carb Day 2011

Great Fun! Todd and I ventured to the track yesterday morning for a day of people watching, amongst other things. The weather was a little on the cool side but the rain stayed away. We were guests in the FE Harding Party Tent where we saw many friends and where Angela Buchman was being friendly. Todd quickly took advantage!

We spent the day enjoying the sights, watching cars and indulging on draft beer! We met up with Melissa and Jim to rock out to Papa Roach and Staind. Great concerts!!!!


We finished the evening with dinner at Binkleys followed by Tylenol and a hot shower!

Baby Birds

We have built a barricade around the bush to protect the nest of baby birds from our killer beagle.

High Honors

We attended the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony this evening at TJ's school. He received an award for having a 95% or higher average every nine weeks this school year! Way to go TJ!!!!

Bandits Win All Five Games!

TJ's baseball team played in the Noblesville Slugfest this weekend. They played two pool play games on Saturday and after a three hour rain delay, they played their final pool play game today to be #1 seed in their bracket. They played the #2 seed from the other bracket in the semi-finals immediately following. With a 15 minute break, they changed fields to face the Mustangs, a tough opponent. With darkness approaching, the Bandits were winning in the 4th inning. Blue decided to try one more inning against coaches and parent approval. It was getting dark. Bandits held the lead and the game was called for darkness. Whew. It was a long day!

8th Grade Graduation

Our nephew, Devin graduates from 8th grade this evening. So proud of the Dev-miester!!!

Baseball

Just before TJ's annual piano recital, his travel baseball team played their first game of the Nitro Tourney at Trinity. We had to leave in the 5th inning but TJ contributed to the team's win with two hits and some great defense at 1st base and 2nd base.

Florida

We left rain in Indiana for ninety degrees and sunshine!! Just returned from our annual "girls" trip to decompress from tax season. Melissa, Kirstine, Jennifer, Lauren and I traveled to Kirstine's Florida home for a long weekend of rest and relaxation. We arrived Wed and immediately went to "Millers" for drinks and lunch. Our next stop was the pool before doing a little grocery and liquor store shopping! Dinner was at an annual destination - Iguana Mias. Thursday we baked poolside and dined at the Watermark. We tried a new restuarant but we forgot about the NFL draft and Bokampers was hosting an NFL draft party with several Miami Dolphin players in attendance - it was packed. We went there Sat. night instead. Friday began at 4 a.m. with the Royal Wedding! Then more sun worshiping. We stayed in Friday night and snacked on pizza. Saturday was more of the same with a dalong game of Poker to complete the night! Sunday was heavenly as we stayed in the sun until we had to check in for our flight home to...........rain. Looking forward to April, 2012.
