Superbowl Village
Last Friday night, Todd and I met up with friends, Diana and Al and we stationed ourselves at the Fire & Ice Bar in the middle of Georgia Street at the Superbowl Village. The people watching was insane. We met some local and some not so local new friends! Then, Saturday evening we again ventured downtown with friends (the Horsleys) for a scrumptious dinner at the Milano Inn. Then we walked off the calories downtown with 100,000+ other NFL fans the night before the Superbowl in Indy. What an experience. Indy did us proud! The photo is a bit blurry but trying to find a sober photo taker was impossible!

NFL Experience
Indy is hosting the party of the year - Superbowl. Unfortunately, our beloved Colts are not playing but the city is alive with excitement none the less. Today, we spent the day downtown and attended the NFL experience. We saw many friends and the boys had a great time! The highlight was the Play 60 event in which they did drills and played flag football with some NFL players. It was a 20 minute wait to get signed up and then another 45 minute to their session but well worth it!

January Birthdays
We gathered in Columbus last evening to celebrate Todd's brother, Bill as well as his sisters, Tina and Danelle's birthdays. Diana fixed fajitas and we topped it off with cake/ice cream. It was a nice evening until the ride home. The west coast ice storm had made its way to the midwest. We traveled home on icy roads counting no less than 8 cars off the road and/or accidents. Luckily, I was driving and Todd was not about to critic my slow speed and we arrived home safely although the knot in my upper back from being so tense has yet to subside.
